Just few weeks after he clashed with IPOB members over his die-hard support for Nigerians president Buhari same week he declared his intentions to become next governor of Enugu state, Nollywood actor Kenneth Okonkwo is increasingly worried that voters might just vote for ‘Andy’ instead of his real name ‘Kenneth Okonkwo.’
The veteran actor became popular after he played the role Andy in blockbuster movie Living in Bondage which was released in 1992.
Since then, many have ditched his real name while others who don’t even know his name prefer that of the old movie which brought him to limelight.
“I will have to sensitize the voters and make sure that they are familiar with the name Kenneth Okonkwo and not Andy before the general elections that comes up in 2019 but some of this IPOB members are not even helping my case,” a concerned Kenneth Okonkwo said.
Under Broom and change party (APC), Kenneth wants to become the next governor of Enugu state in 2019, something that’s not going to be easy for him at all going by his recent outburst with IPOB members.
