Nigerians have been warned by former Senate president, Ken Nmamani, to beware of desperate politicians who don’t have a second address.
Nnamani gave the warning during a chat with State House correspondents, after meeting with Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Vanguard reports.
The former Senate president, who is a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), also advised struggling politicians to have a second address.
He said: “I think our problem is that if you enter politics and you have no second address, the chances of your getting in trouble is very high.” Nnamani was accompanied on the visit by oil magnate, Chief Emeka Offor, who said he had brought foreign investors from Europe to meet with Osinbajo about investment opportunities in the oil, gas, power and electricity sectors.
Offor said: “We brought a major investing group from Europe; that’s why we are here. We are looking into investing in oil and gas, electricity power and others. They have seen that the atmosphere in the country is conducive for investments.”
