Kenzie said that all donations will be used to replace whatever was thrown into the lake and they would also like to buy Drew a tent so he can “sleep more peacefully”.
He has been checking on Drew “every day” and added that “people have been stepping up to donate”.
Mr Harris said this was not an isolated incident and the area has changed due to “gentrification”.
He added: “People who have lived here their whole lives are getting pushed out. There’s a lot of change happening rapidly.”
