BRIEF ABOUT THE COMPANY AND HOW THEIR RECRUITMENT WORKS

Brewster Partners are recruiting for an expanding and ambitious business in the Sheffield area due to recent acquisitions and continued growth in their lucrative sector sustained organic growth enable growth that will see the team double in size creating lots of excellent career opportunities the FC is looking to bolster the established finance team with an Assistant Accountant to assist with month end duties and provide support to the Accounts Clerks.

THE JOB:

Reporting into the Financial Controller and working alongside Accounts Clerks and a Payroll Officer you will be responsible for the following duties which will increase and the near future:

Assisting with month end and year end accounts preparation
Accruals and prepayments

Posting journals
Bank reconciliations

Inter-company reconciliations

Assisting with budgets and financial reporting
Assiting with AP and AR

THE PERSON:

The ideal person will be at least half way through their AAT qualification p although Graduates with a minimum of 2:1 in a relevant degree will also be considered.

You must be professional and confident, able to communicate financial information effectively to non-finance people across the business. This role would be an excellent first move from practice into industry also.
